Rowing is a super cool, challenging and healthy way to be active outdoors. You do not only train your endurance and all your muscle groups, but you also tackle a challenge as a team. Whether that's a tour race, short course or marathon race. Besides activaties, there is plenty of room for relaxation and sociability. Cooking, eating and drinking together at the bar in the clubhouse. Often, you make friends for life.

Does this sound like something you would like? Then come to the open day on April 9 2024 and get acquainted with rowing in and around Leeuwarden and its watery surroundings. And be sure to bring a fellow student! During the open day we will tell you what makes rowing so exciting and you can put it to the test. Have you become enthusiastic? Then you can sign up for the introductory course on the spot.

During the open day, not only will you get a tour, something to eat and a drink. But you will also have the opportunity to do some rowing. So dress appropriately! Think training pants, sneakers and, depending on the weather, a warm sweater or jacket.
